Getting to Almagro
The best option to reach Almagro is to fly to Madrid and then take the high-speed AVE train which departs from Atocha Renfe railway station to Ciudad Real.
To reach Atocha Renfe railway station from Barajas Airport the best option is to take a taxi (cost about 30 euro). The keywords for the taxi driver are "A la estacion de Atocha, al AVE". If you have time, a cheaper option is to use the underground. With one ticket you can travel from Barajas to Atocha Renfe station. Here you can download a map of the Madrid underground network.
Travel time from Madrid to Ciudad Real is about 1 hour with trains departing approximatelly every hour (see full list here) and the ticket cost is between 20 and 30 euro. From Ciudad Real we will try to arrange taxis for participants to reach Almagro.
