Sebastien Benzekry is a researcher (CR) at Inria, the french institute for applied mathematics, computer science and their applications. He joined the project-team MONC (Mathematics in ONCology) in 2013, from a postdoc position at the Center of Cancer and Systems Biology (Boston, USA) where he worked under the supervision of Philip Hahnfeldt with the aim of developing novel approaches for quantitative modeling in cancer biology. His background is in mathematics; he received his education from the ENS (Ecole Normale Superieure) in Paris and holds a PhD in applied mathematics. The topics of his research include data science in oncology, computational modeling of tumor growth and metastasis and pharmacometrics for personalized administration of anti-cancer drugs. |
