Special session "Mathematical models in cancer" AIMS 2014 Conference
Cantoblanco Campus, Autonoma University of Madrid
Monday July 07, 2014 to Friday July 11, 2014

The AIMS conference is a biannual conference which provides a forum for mathematicians and scientists around the world working in applied fields such as mathematical analysis, differential equations and partial differential dynamical systems theory and applications of these fields in the world real.

As part of this conference Mathematical Oncology group organizes a special session on Mathematical Models in Cancer, organize by Philip Maini (Oxford), Gabriel F. Calvo (UCLM) and Juan Belmonte Beitia (UCLM).

In this session, problems such as the prediction will be presented using mathematical models of regrowth of low-grade gliomas, molecular programming in cancer cell phenotypes, multi-scale modeling of the formation of palisades in glioblastomas and optimization of therapies in low-grade gliomas and leading scientists involved in the international arena.
