What are the MôLAB summer studentships
The MôLAB Summer Studentships are aimed at undergraduate students with a good mathematical background (typically final year grade students) who are considering a future in academic research and are attracted by the field of mathematical oncology.
The studentships provide hands-on experience of research and a true feel for what it is like to work in a applied mathematical group focused on real medical applications. Summer students join one of the group's research projects and carry out original research, working along side MôLAB scientists with full access to the group facilities.
What do the studentships cover?
* Free lodging to the grantees in an university residence or shared flat.
* Excemption of the "Mathematical oncology" course fees.
* In exceptional cases partial covering of travel expenses (train or flight ticket when applicable).
The studentships do not include medical insurance neither constitute any type of contractual relation between the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the grantee.
How to apply
Send your CV by email to the group's coordinator: firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email please state briefly the reasons why you are interested on the studentship and the period requested. Typically the studentships cover the full month of July but longer visits are possible.
There is a maximum of three summer studentships available. Applications will be considered until the end or May while there are studentships available.
